Isaac “Ike” Hamon is a director and stunt coordinator based in Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand. His own Instagram bio keeps it shorter: “director, stunt coordinator, show-off”.
The work backs it up. Ike was stunt coordinator on M3GAN 2.0, leading a team of more than seventy performers and riggers, and he stunt-coordinated and performed creature and motion-capture work with Wētā FX on Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil. His screen accomplishments include Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021), Mortal Engines (2018), and War for the Planet of the Apes (2017), and his action work has taken him on location as far as India.
He stands in the Expansion: the generation that carried the Hamon spark out into the world, and onto some of the biggest film sets on the planet.
