Kaitiaki Hamon
Ron Hairemy
Pointillism, music, and worlds — built one dot, one bar, one page at a time.
I’m Kaitiaki Awanui Hamon — I record as Ron Hairemy. I make pointillism the patient way, dot by deliberate dot, the way my great-uncle Rei Hamon saw the bush: no shortcuts, just time turned into image. I make music the same way — hip hop, heart, and hard-won lessons, pressed into verses.
This is the home for all of it: the galleries, the songs, the world of Vornhaven, and the morning blog. Have a look around, stay for a track, and if something here moves you — you’re in the right place.
Kia ora, ya hoser! — pull up a chair.

Latest finished pointillism
The full realization — the third of three ~125-hour anxieTREE versions: the eye-hollowed tree, the beam, the cratered moon. Drawn against the anxiety, finished for the room. This canvas sold at a silent auction at Cristopher Ryan (Oddiologist)’s memorial show, helping his family cover funeral costs.
On the canvas now: the 18×24″ MANAIA redo — 35+ hours in, linework done, colour next.

While you’re thinking: every pointillism piece here is thousands of single dots. Nothing big happens all at once. It happens one honest dot at a time.
The patient dots, and the looser work — marker, ink, pastel, and paint.
